Atlas Steel PNG’s Buildings Division is the largest supplier of best quality, locally manufactured steel buildings that are used across PNG for Dormitories, School-Buildings, Canteens, Car-ports, Garages, Libraries, Show-rooms, Factories, Work-shops, Warehouses, Sheds and in general any residential, commercial or industrial steel structure(s).
Our factories in Lae and Port Moresby are equipped to design, fabricate and supply steel buildings all across Papua New Guinea.

All Atlas Steel Buildings are designed in accordance with Papua New Guinea Standards PNGS 1001: Parts 1 to 4, and relevant provisions of PNGS 10012, 1003, and 1004. All designs are certified by Professional Engineers registered with the PNG Institute of Engineers.

The steel we source is essential for the manufacturing of all our key products including roofing, structural beams, steel framing and reinforcing steel, all of which help grow homes, and businesses, in Papua New Guinea, and ensure quality for our PNG people.
Why Choose Steel
When building a structure, the materials are an important component in the construction of a structure. Timber is much less sturdy and durable than steel, which provides a much more secure structure. Steel structures can last much longer than timber structures because of this. Steel structures can often last several decades, whereas timber structures only last a few years.
Pre-Fabricated Buildings
These buildings are designed, fabricated and supplied in kit-form to be assembled completely at site. They come complete with all material including connection bolts & nuts and construction drawings to enable the contractor to manage installation works on site.
Modular Buildings
The larger buildings are designed, fabricated, and assembled within our factory premises. They are then delivered in separate modules on truck-beds for final assembly and connection to utilities at site. For clients to have a first-hand experience of Atlas Steel Modular Buildings systems, we have start of the art factories in Port Moresby and Lae.
Demountable Buildings
These buildings are commonly used as project site offices or site accommodation by companies that have worksites across multiple
locations; including mining projects and building developments. Our Demountable Range are quick and easy to construct and can be moved around effortlessly, which makes them a convenient option for locations that require flexibility.
